What’s the difference between a Salesforce Admin and a Salesforce Architect?
An admin manages day-to-day platform operations — user permissions, flows, basic configuration. An architect designs the entire Salesforce environment: data model, integration architecture, multi-cloud strategy, and org governance. Most companies underestimate how senior the role they actually need is — and hire an admin when they need an architect.
